We offer dog walking as well as dog, cat and small animal services and drop ins in the North Tyneside, Newcastle and bordering Northumberland areas.
Dog Walking:
As a true lover of dogs we understand that each dog is different so we tailor our services to suit them best. We will arrange an initial meeting with you and your dog to ensure everyone is happy and we can meet your expectations.
We can assure that each dog receives the dedicated time and attention that they need. On a walk we’ll take note of your dog’s favourite routes, however all animals get bored the same as people so we keep the walks varied and interesting. Each new potential location is personally checked out by ourselves and Missy to make sure it is a dog friendly environment before we take your beloved dog there. We will never just take your dog to a field and walk laps around.
The health and wellbeing of the dogs we care for is at the heart of everything we do; that's why we offer programs tailored to your dog's individual needs. Whether that be a gentle stroll with some really good sniffs or a more energetic stomp.
We will only ever walk a maximum of four dogs at any one time (unless they are from the same family) to ensure each dog gets our full attention. The number and duration of the walks will be customized to you and your dog's individual needs.
Group walks are only conducted once we are comfortable that all the dogs get on with each other and also with us; that is why we personally come to meet your dog before any arrangement is agreed upon and your dog's first 5 walks are one on one experiences.
After the initial get-to-know each other walks all our other services become available to your dog. From social walks, with up to 3 other dogs maximum with one single person and up to 7 others with both of us present.
The duration and difficulty of the walk will be fully catered to your dogs fitness and ability.
During a typical walk we will collect your dog from your home in our customised crated vehicle and exercise them for the agreed period of time at a variety of locations (let us know if you have any favourites).
They will always be walked on lead, unless you are happy to give us permission otherwise and we have built up sufficient rapport for successful recall. We also have a wide range of long leads to allow those more adventurous but slightly mischievous dogs the chance to explore further afield.
They will be returned to your home cleaned, dried, happy and tired, where they can be fed and watered to your requirements. A message will also be sent to you to put your mind at ease that they are safe and well.
Our old dog, Beth, suffered from arthritis and heart problems but still had the will of a two year old so she would come on our walks but was given the added luxury of a pram.
So for dogs who are poorly or are simply suffering from old age we can offer a pram service if they are still keen to go out.
Dog, Cat and small animal drop-ins:
There are times when we as humans can't give our pets the full attention that they need, we can be there to help alleviate some of your stress in any way we can. Whether through a quick drop-in to be let outside and check their water bowls are filled or a longer stay for snuggles and dinnertime. We are there for you.
If your dog is housebound we can simply visit them at home for cuddles, feeding and watering, play and toilet time.
We also offer puppy drop ins where we will take care of your puppy while you are at work or unable to be there including feeding, playing, companionship, basic training and short walks where appropriate.
Although our feline friends love their independence, they still can't open a tin! We can drop-in to feed, clean their litter tray and snuggle (if they come out from their hiding place!) whenever necessary.
Our drop-in services are also available for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Birds, Fish, Goats, Horses, Donkeys etc. No animal excluded, with the exception of spiders and snakes (sorry).
There is a discount for our elderly or disabled clients. We understand the importance of the company a pet gives you even though you may be unable to walk them yourself.
Clients keys and details are kept safe and secure to ensure the homes security. Please see our privacy policy.
